For many women out there a first date is a big deal. You want to look great, feel great, and most of all impress your date enough the first time that they will be craving more. Unfortunately many women find it difficult to present themselves as classy and sexy, two of the greatest images a woman can portray. The appearance of a classy, sexy woman is a confidence booster, and can help during that difficult first date. There are simple techniques that can give you the confidence and appearance you need to achieve this image;

Dress to impress Dressing up for a first date is always fun, but over dressing is often the result. When choosing your clothing there are a number of issues you should consider. First you have to judge your attire by the location of the date. No one wants to go for a stroll along the beach in a black mini and stiletto heels, as sexy as it may seem you will look, and feel, ridiculous. If you know you are going to be walking dress for it, the same rule goes for a night of dancing; do not show up at a cocktail part in jeans and a sweater. Secondly you must consider you body when choosing clothes. You want to wear clothes that are comfortable and proper fitting for your first date. You do not want to sit through dinner in a dress that is two sizes two small it will be a distraction for you, as well as your date. Thirdly you must remember to think about the impression you are trying to make. If you are aiming to look sexy and classy you need to portray it. No matter your size, and despite some people's view of sexy, tight fitting, skimpy clothing is not part of this image. Even if you are lucky enough to have a small frame with legs like Tina Turner a micro-mini is not going to give the impression of class. Be aware of not only how you feel in your clothing, but how your clothing will make others feel.

Be Confident In order to appear sexy, and classy, you need to feel it inside. Women with high confidence are often more successful in the dating world. Confidence is an excellent trait to have naturally, and for those who are not lucky enough to be born with it, you are lucky enough to find that it can be faked. In order to feel sex you need to tell yourself you are sexy. Spend sometime looking at yourself in the mirror and instead of focusing on your flaws find things you love about your body. Make a habit of this and soon you will only see the positive parts of yourself. On your date be careful not to complain about your job, your life, or your children. Speak freely and with pure confidence. Remember the person you are out with WANTED to get to know you, everything you say is going to be interesting and new to them. Enjoy it.

Don't Be Afraid to be Smart Despite the image that many television shows portray, being smart is VERY sexy. Even if you find that you are not overly intelligent in worldly topics you can still show that you have knowledge. Take sometime to catch up on the world and read the news on-line, you may not have the time to learn enough on a subject to debate it thoroughly, but you should be able to form an opinion on the basics of what is going on around you.

Be Yourself To be sexy and classy does not mean that you have to dress up like an A-list celebrity on the red carpet. Being yourself is sexy. Showing that you are comfortable with who you are and that you can open yourself to another person is the classiest you can be.
