What Tomorrow Brings
If I could keep my cool starting my day,
Hopeful that there will always be new games to play,
If I could remain on the game never losing my nerve,
Keeping on the move without fearing to swerve.
If I could trash out my fear and endure the misery, Start up a fresh outlook in donning life's livery,
If I could color my life with a paintful of luck,
Keeping on the portrait of it and never get struck.
If I may get struck and fall on my knees,
Rise on to buzz and shape my hive like bees,
If I could fly from my hive to the clear blue sky,
Steer clear of clouds and strong winds up high.
If I could take the blunt force of the winds of change,
Organize my efforts to keep tomorrow within range,
If I could pursue tomorrow to the edge of oblivion,
Grab a piece of yesterday and get back to my station.
I will be stationed from within and my heart will sing,
I have pulled out my resources and will face what tomorrow brings.
