For starters, I'll state that I am an athlete and working out is a day-to-day basis kind of thing. When I work out I usually where a t-shirt and jogging pants or a tank top and jogging pants.

The reason for wearing pants is that I learned over the years that you become lighter on your feet with heavier garments. This is a fact because when ever I run a mile around the track in sweat pants/sweat suit in five minutes and thirty seconds, I can do it in four minutes and ten seconds in my uniform at my track meets. It honestly works; when your body adapts to the weight, you lose more weight, but you also gain endurance and stamina.

If you always worked out like this, in a couple of weeks time you will be able to go further, and longer (and I don't just mean around a track or on a treadmill). Your body gets stronger and you start to feel absolutely great or greater when you remove those clothes and have a look at yourself. Trust that isn't peachy cake at the beginning but once you get into the hang of it it'll start to show promise.

To me, running in shorts aren't bad, but I'm looking for the more beneficial route which would be, for me, wearing pants.

Look at it this way: (and this is just an example here) five pound loss: running in shorts, two miles, everyday for a month; Five pound loss: running in pants, two miles, everyday for three weeks. There's a difference. And the difference indeed counts on if you're working hard. Not two miles a day, half a mile every two hours. No way, it won't be that effective that fast.

Exercising with pants on is effective also (cardio, aerobic). Like I said before, the heavy garment (or heavier than shorts) makes you sweat. When you sweat from working you can tell that your body is losing something. Salt and fat. Basically.

Test yourself. Do a week of running in shorts, and then a week running in sweats. Write down the results and let everybody know the difference, if there is none and your thoughts. I'm trying to convince everybody my opinion should be considered to be inserted into more people's lives. That's how you develop good health (with the right eating habits), better self-esteem and a nice body. I know you want to.

It's not just about wearing pants or shorts. It's about getting better at it. At whatever physical exercise you're trying to perform. So for writing my opinion I just wanted to add some side notes in here to back up my statement and hopefully get someone, anyone, to try out my method. I want to gaurantee that you will progress.

You'll know better endurance and stamina when you can exercise, sing a song and everybody actually understands the words. Enough said.
