If you are ever approached about an article rewriting task, before you say no, there are a few things that you might want to consider. While article rewriting is perhaps one of the lowest paid forms of web-writing, you can earn money working for an article rewriting service if you understand what you are getting yourself into!

A) Professional PLR - If you are fortunate enough to be presented with PLR material for rewriting, then chances are pretty good that the work is going to be of poor to good quality. For some, this can present an interesting challenge of how to make the article better by re-working the content that you are presented with. The important thing to remember with a PLR article is much of it can be reused in its entirety and will require a lot of work to rewrite. In some cases the work may be of better quality and may be more challenging.

B) Hired writers - Some article rewriting services are purchasing articles that are written by other hired writers. In some instances, these articles are poorly structured, have terrible grammar, and are riddled with typographical errors. The advantage to these articles is that it is pretty simple to rewrite a better article in a short period of time.

C) Spun articles - Some of us have had the displeasure of being asked to rewrite an article that was put through a spinner. These are the absolute worst articles to be asked to rewrite. Some of these articles make little (if any) sense, they have little rhyme or reason and it is your job to turn out a presentable document from the remnants.

These are the "basic" types of articles that you might encounter if you are being asked to write for an article rewriting service. The main question remains however, how to earn working for a service that provides rewriting services. Here are some of the ways:

Provide great original content - If you check article rewriting services, many of them are looking for articles that can be rewritten. In this case, you can earn higher payments on your articles than if you are providing rewrites.

Rewriting PLR - If you are fortunate enough to work for an article rewriting service that purchases high quality PLR material, you can earn approximately $5 per 500 word article. While this might not sound like a fortune, stop and consider this: Since no research is involved, depending on your typing speed you can produce about 4 articles per hour.

From other writers - Even though this is often a little trickier, you can still make about the same as you would rewriting PLR articles. If these articles are poorly written, they can take a lot of patience to rewrite. However, once you get the hang of it, you can turn out 3-5 of these articles in an hour.

Avoid spun articles - If at all possible, avoid the articles that have been through a "spinner". If these articles are nonsense like many from an article spinner, you might have to spend more time researching the proper terms to write an effective article.

It is possible to earn working for an article rewriting service. Make sure you find out exactly the type of articles that you are expected to produce and how many you will be expected to produce daily, weekly or monthly depending on the service. Remember, there is an insatiable appetite for articles. Someone is going to rewrite content, it might as well be you.
