Jesus is the only way, according to the Word of God. I base my life on that Word. I trust in the Word. The Bible is truth. If we stand on, and believe in, the truth of the Word, then it's plain, that Jesus is the only way. In John 14:6 Jesus says to Thomas, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life, and no man, comes to the Father, except, by, (or through), me." I don't know how much more plain it could possibly get, than the Words of Jesus Himself. In John 10:9, again, Jesus speaking, " I am the Door, anyone who enters, in through me will be saved..." I trust in the Word, and the Words of Jesus Himself, in Gods Word. Then, in John 8:32, says, that we will know the "truth", and that "truth" will make us free. Pontious Pilate, in Jesus time, asked, "what" is truth, and should have asked, "who" is truth, for truth, was standing before him, in the flesh.
Jesus is the truth. He is the only truth. He is the only way. He is the only life. When asked, prove, that Jesus is the only way of Salvation, I have to ask, what will you listen to, as a basis for my proving this? If you say, I accept Gods Word wholly as truth, then, I agree, and I say, that Jesus alone is the way. But, if you say, well, there may be room for wiggle, in Gods Word, then, therein presents a problem. You see, I believe, that society today, tries to create, "wiggle room", to allow them, to work out their own ways to God. If they allow for this, then, they can be permitted to say, well, I don't "fully" agree, with this or that. You see, if, Gods Word is the final authority, as I believe it is, then, Gods Word says, it, and that settles it. But, as I say, today, people want to be able to create the "gray" areas, so they can get away with certain things in their lives.
In 2 Samuel 7:28, King David says, "O Lord God, you are God and your words, are truth". King David, knew God as truth. And all His words, are true. Then, in Numbers 23:19. It says, " God is not a man, that he should lie, For what He has said, and shall He not do it?" You see, if we believe that God and His Word, are truth, then there is no way, we cannot believe, that Christ is the only way, to salvation. In modern society, though, many voices are being heard from. People want many ways, not just one. People want to believe, that their lives are okay, in choosing, what way, they can follow after. They don't want to feel remorse, or remission for their attitudes, so they sort of want "stroked" in to feeling, that its okay to believe, in other ways, to salvation. But, I just believe God at His Word. If His word says, it, then I receive that as truth.
I believe it's simple faith, child like faith. I am not moved and tossed with every whim and doctrine that comes along, but solid and sure, in God Himself. That what he spoke, he will do. And, furthermore, as King David said, for God is not a man, that he should lie, I believe that as well. I choose the Bible, I believe the Bible, and I believe that Jesus, is the only way, of Salvation. Blessings to you,and I pray, that you will find that way, if you have not, and if you have, that your way, in Him, will be abundantly blessed. As you follow him to your destiny of Heaven/Salvation, Joy and peace. May you have, Blessings on the way, following the way!
