DOES HE LIKE TO DANCE
Quiet moments are elusive
Fear born of loneliness is obtrusive
In our fast paced world
Hate and anger continuously hurled
A Universal gift that made her heart lurch
When finally she had given up the search
They met one night completely by chance
Wondering intently, does he like to dance
Imagine, oh she could, how his arms would feel
The love in his eyes, as he bent to kneel
A future in store brighter than before
Her faith in men he'd keenly restore
She wanted just one to prove sincerely
State it to her plain and quiet clearly
That all men are not the same
Not all of them play the shallow game
Thus, she ponders again, with a backward glance
Oh how I wonder, does he like to dance

Poetry: Dancing
Dance
It was only a seaside cafe,
My soul a tendril reaching out
Eagerly cleaving to the silhouette,
Standing on a table near
A Balinese Dancer
Exotic and alluring,
Each movement casts its spell,
Evoking myths and legends,
Such dramas she can tell.
Swaying

Pirouette on Carousel
I penetrate the mist; what's there?
A heart with dreams immune to cares.
Behold such grace of life
On high tip toes
She stretches her leg in the air
The audience is silent
As they mesmerizingly stare
With a twist of the wrist
