With the growing demand of restaurants and pizza corners, people spend most of their money in pizzas. As it is easily available in almost every alternate shop, it is tasty and the burden of preparing at home is less. But is pizza really a healthy food? No it isn't. It has lot of fats. It can be seen by looking at the amount of cheese put in the crust of the pizza.

Some people out of innocence and some people out of laziness, go for pizza. But do you know that one slice of pizza contains around 300 to 350 calories. If you eat the whole pizza, just imagine the intake of calorie in a day. That cannot be compensated for even a month. We don't really think about pizza to be unhealthy or any other fast food for that matter. Pizza increases the fat component in our body, and it increases weight. The bread used for pizza also contains lot of calories.

The excessive intake of pizza can be catastrophic. It can lead to many health problems. The problem with pizza is, it is irresistible, and when taken, the thought of being healthy and unhealthy is totally ignored. But it never shows its side effects you immediately, it takes some time. Secondly, it is hard to digest because of the amount of cheese, and bread. Bread takes time to digest. So pizza can also lead to digestion problem.

Pizzas that we buy outside are full of cheese and it also contains sodium which is not good for heart. So it is better to make pizza at home, with much healthy vegetables and less of fats, and sufficient calorie needed for the body.

Pizzas that we get outside contain layers of cheese on the crust, and then they have vegetables, meat and then again a layer of cheese and then sauce. So just imagine the quantity of cheese used in each pizza. Full of fats, this is so very dangerous for our body. Weight watchers' be very careful, if you are in diet and still having pizza, then you will gain double the weight than you already have. So if you are dieting, the first thing is to avoid pizzas. It is never a healthy food. The nutrition value is almost zero and the carbohydrates are plenty. If you list pizza into healthy food, then go consult a doctor and then come into conclusion. Even the doctors would recommend pizza to be unhealthy.

So don't be in a misconception that pizza is a healthy food and you can skip your meal and eat pizza. No, don't spoil your health even by knowing the fact that pizza is unhealthy. If you want to eat pizza, home made pizza is the best, with less of cheese and more of green vegetable. Avoid outside pizza to the maximum.
