Grilled to perfection, tantalizing, aromatic and full of flavour, the humble hamburger has been a symbol of America for decades. Mc Donald's, Burger King and a plethora of rival fast food restaurants have been consistently vying for top position in lieu of their hamburgers. But one doesn't always vote for the most convenient restaurant or the one that offers toys in lieu of having their younger fans demanding to come back regularly. Gimmicks are not needed if you give consumers exactly what they want. The best fast food burgers are those that tantalize the taste buds, contain quality fresh beef and toppings and make you wish you discovered them years ago!

WENDY'S:

Wendy's was top choice in a poll only recently. Started in November 1969 by David Thomas in Columbus, Ohio, USA. Thomas named his restaurant after one of his daughters. Her real name is Melinda Lou, but she was nicknamed Wendy by her brothers. Wendy's have made a commitment to deliver top quality food and they do. So what makes Wendy's the top choice for hamburgers? Wendy's burgers are not reheated lumps of leather; their succulent burgers are made fresh while you wait. The burgers are moist, hot and juicy and very flavoursome. Fresh off the grill with fresh salad toppings, you can certainly taste the difference. The burgers melt in your mouth after giving your senses such a treat. The only downside is that they are so addictive!

IN 'N' OUT:

Although lacking in consistent advertising, my personal choice for the best hamburger is In 'N' Out. Perhaps you are not familiar with this line of fast food chain, but I can assure you their burgers are the best. At In 'N' Out you get exactly what you paid for, a succulent burger which is cooked to perfection. This fast food chain has an excellent reputation. Founded in 1948 by Harry and Ester Snyder, In 'N' Out has always adhered to their business philosophy of giving their customers the freshest, highest quality foods. They also stick by their original promise to provide excellent service in a clean environment. Their burgers are made of top quality ingredients with freshness deemed a top priority. Here you can see the food is fresh as you watch them make your burger using fresh beef. Behind the scenes there are no freezers of microwaves.

Like a burger which with fresh lettuce which is hand -leafed? Tomatoes sliced only when needed, not sitting in a container on a side-board collecting bacteria? Buns warmed on the grill which is used for the tasty burgers?
