Heaven: a place regarded, in various religions, as the abode of God, or the gods and of the good after death.

If the meaning of Heaven is the good, in life, after death, I believe any person can be given access to heaven if they are "good". I am not what you would call a "Heaven" person, but I do believe I can get into heaven by being a "good person". No one, on earth, really knows who it is gets a shot at heaven. Jimmy Swaggart, Pat Robertson, none of them know what, or where Heaven is. They speak of it in pearly gates notions, but they really don't know.

"Or the gods and the good after death"-that's what it says! It's that, "or the good", that I believe in. It may be an "abode for God", but I still think you can make it by being 'good'. I'm a good person. I've never, intentionally, hurt anyone. I have never hated anyone. I have never wished someone dead, like Pat Robertson did with Hugo Chavez. I have elicited prostitutes like Jimmy Swaggard did, but I was honest about it. I didn't claim any sacred ground, or brought hell upon anyone who did that, like Jimmy Swaggart did. He brought down fire and brimstone upon any who did this, and yet, he did it himself. Then he wept, and said "I have sinned", with tears in his eyes because he knew that his gravey-train money machine was in jeopardy! These evangelists take money from the poor and give it to themselves. I know I'll have a better shot at Heaven than they do! They are hypocrites, and hypocrites, though I may love them, aren't very good people. Even though i think all people are good, some just don't care about anything but themselves. Conceit is not abmirable.

I look upon each person as, basically, good. If you look at it that way, you'll find that all people are good at heart, and they will treat in kind. That's what I believe. I will always believe that people are good. Naive, maybe so, but I will always give anyone the chance to be good. I hold no animosity toward any human being. Is that "good"? "Or the gods and the good after death"-gods is not capitalized. That means it is for all of us to have. I believe in people; the good of people. I may not believe in a God in heaven, but I have a God, and my God accepts me for what, and who, I am. My God accepts you for who, or what, you are. My God acceprs all, for who they are, good or bad.

Personally, I'm hoping to come back, in the next life, as an Otter. That's God enough for me.
