Of course we need humor on a daily basis. Humor makes us feel better and can overall lighten our day up. Without humor, we are confined to being grumpy and sad all day. The people saying no to this article are probably grumpy and sad too.

Although there can be controversy because humor is a feeling just like anger. Its best to live without anger on a day to day basis, and wouldn't that mean that its best not to have humor on a day to day basis too. Not exactly, humor is good for our soul and mind, it makes us feel good and we laugh and have a great time. Therefore humor is one of the key characteristics in getting by on a day to day basis.

When we succumb to anger, we would do things we would not normally do. Anger can also be bottled up inside of us and come out all at once. We will even go and get mad at people that didn't cause any anger to us in the first place. Anger can cause us to get revenge and furthermore cause us to have new traits that can stick with us for the rest of our life. But, have you ever heard of anyone bottling up humor and getting revenge with it? I didn't think so, and thats why humor is far better then anger.

But then again you have angry humor, where another person is making fun of someone for humor. That kind of humor is the worst kind of humor, and unfortunately it is very popular. This kind of humor will just cause more anger to the receiving end of the humor. This anger in return can again be used as revenge.

The best kind of humor is jokes that don't have anything to do with other people, religions, or things that can put another person down. Most Comedians today have every good and bad joke in their act. Comedians like Dane Cook and Katt Williams feature jokes that make fun of other people and have vulgar language. Which means that if you go to a show like that, then you must have an open mind and be willing to be made fun of if a certain category is made fun of that you are specified under like religion. But overall humor is essential on a daily basis.
