Creating a blog is simple. What you need to do is at first getting an idea what your blog will be about. Remember to always stick to that topic or in between that topic whenever you try to post a new article in your blog.

Next, you need to decide which blog platform you may need and whether you want a paid blog or a free blog. There are both pros and cons in getting a paid blog and a free blog. For paid blog blogs, meaning you pay for your own domain and hosting of your blog, you can get a free reign of your website template, design, ads inclusion in your blog and accessibility of users.

For free blogs, well it is basically free and you don't need to worry about the domain fee and monthly hosting fees. You also do not need to worry about losing your posts whenever your domain owner does a monthly maintenance. Unfortunately you cannot control what advertisements appear on your blog and ban users who loves to spam your blog.

To create a free blog, you can search for the most compatible blog platforms you like on Google. Such free blog platforms are Wordpress.com, Blogger.com, and Livejournal.com etc. For users who would like to earn from their blogs through advertisements on their blog, it's best to use Blogger.com

To create a paid blog, there are a few steps to take. Firstly, you have to buy a hosting deal from Powweb.com, Hostgator.com or GoDaddy.com or other web hosting sites. I would prefer the before mentioned web hosters since their rates are very affordable and GoDaddy.com always have good deals when buying domain names.

Next, decide a domain name that users can remember easily and matches your blog category. Once you have decided on the domain name and purchased it, you are one more step nearer to get your own unique blog. After including your domain name into your web hosting, you can now search for a suitable theme or template for your blog. For Wordpress blog platforms, there are a large variety of free templates to choose from and I personally prefer Wordpress Theme or WP-STYLE.com.

Once you have decided on the theme, download it and upload it into your theme file found on your website root folder. For Wordpress users, it is located in your wp-content, sub-folder: theme folder. Then you have to open your blogging dashboard and activate the theme. If you do not like the theme, you can always download a new one and upload them again. You can include advertisements in your blog by adding the advertising codes given by your advertiser onto your website.

When you are satisfied with the outlook of your blog, you can now start your blogging. There you have it, your own personal unique blog!
