Poetry: Heaven

by Jon Coe

Created on: June 11, 2009

Dew drop sparkling diamond green grasses
hot pink blossoms, abundantly flowing sashes
Birds trumpeting, frogs croaking the dawn bell
vines whispering, trees bowing graciously, tell

Rabbit's twinkling eye, catching a Fox's wink
nodding heads, smiling Badgers at Shrew's think
Cloud's silver linings, glowing in sun's mellow gold
feeling at one, no more younger, nor clouded in old

Stopping time, ceasing yesterday's tomorrow
breathing in, feeling no shame or sighing sorrow
Everything is, as it will always, to taste a little of god
heaven, one hundred times greater, than a moment's nod
