Lunch didn't come soon enough, but it did come. Abby pressed a few keys to lock her computer screen, grabbed her black Prada bag, and locked her office door as she left.
You ready? Abby asked, poking her head into Jennifer's office. Jen smiled, placing her hands on her desk.
Definitely! Jen bounced out of her chair, flipped off the light, pulled her pink leather purse off the hook, and walked out without even shutting her door.
You're so trusting, Abby stated.
What's there not to trust? Jen asked, trying to make a point.
Abby shook her heat at Jen's ignorance, hoping that this girl wouldn't be hurt for being so sweet and honest. Jen just shrugged her shoulders at Abby's disapproval and walked forward, leading the way like a little French poodle. She suddenly turned back, uncertain as to where they were actually going.
So, where do you want to eat, Abby?
I'm feeling a big slab of meat. How about the Steakhouse?

To this man she must have seemed a good combination of sophisticated and sexy.
Abby glared at his tempted grin, lingering at her friend. She clears her throat, attempting to wake him up from his daydream. When he breaks his trance and looks at her, a bit annoyed that she interrupted him, she smiled slyly. Her smile soon broke into a scowl.
I can open my own door, thank you, she said with an unnecessary snap. The poor man tried to make a valid apology, but to no avail. Abby followed her friend, leaving the stumbling gentleman to his own devises.
He was just trying to be nice, Jen said, trying to defend him.
Sure he was. Did you see the way he studied you out?
Yes, I did and I liked it. You know, if you were a little more daring with the way you dressed, you could get some good attention, too. You have a really nice figure. Why do you cover it up?
Abby smiled, trying to be
