Infusion
Hand in hand through a garden of morning fog
Wrapped in its cocoon, fed by each other’s warmth
We stroll down a lane of Saffron and Lily
Taking in the fragrance, awaiting rebirth
With warblers searching confessionals
for a lost tune
and sunbeams bouncing their rays between
clouds and the moon
We bask in comfort of each other’s heartbeat
moving in the rhythm of each beat and throng
Charmed by this seamstress that joined us together
And in our wonder at the depth of her work
With Petunias in masks pretending
to be fancied
While slither worms within their adobes
dream… apple seed
We stroll in tune without the time to hurry
Head to shoulder, lost to the wanting of more
Welcoming the vapors of royal maze
found glistening in the comfort of our glow
The low pines blessing our wilted hair
with their fine comb
and spider webs adorning our path
with beads of chrome
Soon, oak leaves in silence bow to the rapture
when love’s eternal beauty softly appears
The cattails tattle cat tales in approval
as the sun gives witness to the enchantment
At the warbler’s new tune sensation
At the Petunias with their masks now shorn
At the perfection of love in its glory
For at last, it has been reborn

Dark is dark and light is light
awaken this heart, for I ignite
Lift up my head and let me see
away from this, dismal eternity
Walking in the fog,
Imagining days of London past,
Street scenes of poverty,
Captivating to the last.

Early in the morning I wake and rub the eyes,
slip out of bed
scratch my head
to go walk with the Aussie sunrise.

The witching hour has come and gone,
And there's an eerie orange glow;
The horizon
