Rush Limbaugh: Does he represent the Republican party?

Rush Limbaugh is the voice of conservatism. The main stream media has proclaim he is the leader of the republican Party.

My question is if Rush is the leader of the Republican Party, why was John McCain the 2008 Presidential candidate? Rush Limbaugh speaks the truth and many conservative agree with him, unfortunately many in the Republican Party, want to distance themselves from him because he is not always politically correct.

Recently Rush Limbaugh made a comment that included the phrase that he wanted President Obama to fail. The main stream media took that phrase and tried to make Rush seem unpatriotic. Most of the elected Republicans were afraid to touch that idea with a 10 foot pole. The fact is that Rush was actually being 'very' patriotic. If the media had published or broadcast his entire statement, most Americans would have agreed with Rush.

President Obama has stated that he wants to "spread the wealth," which is a phrase that has been used by Socialists and Communists throughout history. President Obama has stated and has now begun to implement policies, that are Socialist in nature. In fact Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, who is a Socialist, has recently stated that President Obama is farther left than he is.

What Rush Limbaugh was getting at, was that he did not want President Obama's Socialist policies to succeed. If they did, America would no longer be a free enterprise, capitalistic and for that matter, even a free nation. Obama's policies are directly opposite of what the founders of this great country intended. Rush Limbaugh is a great patriot and a great American. Unfortunately many in the Republican Party are afraid to stand up to the main stream media. The grass roots of the Republican Party would love to see Rush leading it towards a more conservative agenda.

Rush Limbaugh is not leading the Republican Party and most likely has no desire to lead the party. He is the voice of conservatism and wants everyone in the United States to succeed. He has tremendous confidence that, 'anyone' can succeed, if they apply themselves. If the people who are really in charge of the Republican Party were smart, they would consistently contact Rush for advice and follow about 98% of what he says. After all he does have an accuracy rating of over 98%.

Despite what the main stream media says, a majority of Americans lean more towards conservatism than liberalism. If the Republicans follow Rush Limbaugh's statement, that they stand their ground on conservative values, they will gain control of Congress and the White House.
