Dancin' With Fire
The starlight dances across the skies
The moonlight waltzes around the beach
Twirling its subtle glow in my eyes
I exhale, inspired, start to reach
I spread my arms wide in the night
As if a phoenix' soul I knew
I flick my Bic and spark alight
This gift of dance and fire, I cue
A staff of oak in hand, fire on both tip
I spin and dance the duel flame rod
Dancing to the beat of drums, sometimes skip
Bringing my feat to air , how odd
The drums in the ground,
My soul tells my heart
To spin the flame 'round
My mind makes it art.
The night air, the waves, sand cool and dark
The flame burns close, hisses bright and hot
I twirl and sway, spin fast, waht a lark!
Dancing, danger there is not
I dance with the flame, I feel the charm
I move around, spinning hand and hips
The fire brushes my naked arm
With a flare, a gasp crosses my lips
The fire burns lower, I slowly weaves
It round my head and toss it up high
The brisk air blows out the fire, leaves
The true light dancers up in the skies

Dance
It was only a seaside cafe,
My soul a tendril reaching out
Eagerly cleaving to the silhouette,
Standing on a table near
A Balinese Dancer
Exotic and alluring,
Each movement casts its spell,
Evoking myths and legends,
Such dramas she can tell.
Swaying
DOES HE LIKE TO DANCE
Quiet moments are elusive
Fear born of loneliness is obtrusive
In our fast paced world

Pirouette on Carousel
I penetrate the mist; what's there?
A heart with dreams immune to cares.
Behold such grace of life
On high tip toes
She stretches her leg in the air
The audience is silent
As they mesmerizingly stare
With a twist of the wrist
