I feel the tingling in my fingertips,
the swirling in my chest,
the twin pricks behind my eyes.
I feel the tightness in my throat
And the ache in my temples.
I feel the throb in my stomach
and my knees buckle.
I feel hope.

The morning dew that had settled on my petals
Was quickly disappearing
'Neath the sun
The other flowers 'round
A rickety boat a sailing went,
Found peace of mind in a sea hell bent,
Where none would venture this boat was sent,

There's a light on an ocean
from a window on the shore.
It escapes the human touch
and filters through the door
