Dear God,
I'm skeptical about the religion created around you.
But i am not skeptical about you.
You've been there, i know.
You've helped me along the way, i feel.
You've shown me the rights and wrongs, i hope.
I dont like the name they've made for you.
I dont like the name people have branded you with.
God. I dont like it.
You deserve something better, something pure.
I know you feel no hatred and i know you love all,
but how can you help us all? how do you manage to love us all
after all the crimes some have committed.
I know your a higher power, not a man.
I know that you can live in heaven on earth or hell on earth,
i just dont know why people decided to make your existance into a fairy tale.
No one, no matter how powerful and great you are can create the world in seven days.
No one.
Do you hear me? Can you hear me now? Are you listening?
I doubt it... i've been calling my whole life
and have i gotten a response?
Not in words, but in feelings. I can feel you hear.
My heart beats faster and my chest fills with warmth.
I know your here, my friend.

Why are you not listening?
Why do you not care?
Are you looking down on me?
Are you even there?
I wish that you would answer
That
God is there, I know not where
But I am sure He lives
He's with me in my darkest hours
He loves and He forgives

The Road of Life
This road of life we travel on
May go from town to town,
Some roads will lead us up steep hills,
