How America can improve its economic malaise

One for You and One for Me or One for Wall Street and One for Main Street

Remember when sharing was just a part of life? Remember the old games we use to play? When dividing up the cookies between two of you meant taking turns placing one in front of your friend and then one in front of yourself and saying the words, 'One for you and One for me'. It was fair. It was fun. It was sharing. It was caring. It was fulfilling. It was the way it always should be.

It's the same principal that should apply to the 'Wall Street Bailout'. Wall Street gets half and Main Street gets the other half. Since they are getting their half of the cookie outright, then it only seems fair that Main Street get theirs the same way.

Immediate solutions to so many problems are just waiting for Legislators to address so that no person will suffer from lack of dough. Our Congressional Leaders must push away from the enveloping corruption and selfishness that has engulfed them.

Their 'Bailout Bill' is a failed attempt to produce legislature that would place immediate worth into the hands of every American Citizen. Our Congressional Legislators living within their visionless, befuddled minds are spiraling our country's well being into a bottomless black hole.

There is only one way to stop the spiraling, and it is through emergency legislation amending the 'Wall Street Bailout Bill'. Congress must initiate a simple, effective and immediate solution that will address poverty, homelessness, hunger, joblessness, health care, global warming and alternate energy sources.

It's time for Congress to wash their 'Oil Stained Fingers' and come to the kitchen table with clean hands so they can pass out the cookies just as they did when they were children. Remember, it goes like this, 'One for you' and 'One for me'.

Although 350 Billion Dollars would not be quite half of the 'Bailout Cookie', it would be enough for development, implementation and disbursement of 'Smart Dough Devices' for all 305 Million American Citizens worth $1 Hundred Thousand each. Minors, disabled or otherwise incapable individuals could have their 'Smart Dough Devices' held in 'Trust' by Legal Guardians or Legal Institutions.

Qualification for receiving a 'Smart Dough Device' (SDD) would be American Citizenship.

The 'Smart Dough Devices' would be programmed to allow Americans to pay their mortgages (up to a capped amount), re-purchase foreclosed upon homes, purchase dwellings, food, clothing, educational supplies, health
