Witnessing the paranormal

My Paranormal Encounters

I'm a 21-year-old female undergraduate student. For the last nine years of my life, since the age of about 12, I have had paranormal experiences. I believe some of these experiences to be paranormal, as I haven't been able to explain them, logically. The only explanation that I've been able to use was paranormal.

I've had many encounters with ghosts, with the paranormal, with spirits. I'd feel cold hands touch my arms, when I was alone in a room, and there wasn't any air conditioning, on a rather warm day. I'd feel the presence of someone, or more than one person, when there wasn't anyone else in the room, besides myself. I'd briefly catch the glimpse of someone entering a room, but a second later, was gone, when I went to investigate the room. The room would be completely empty. I'd hear things clearly, which I couldn't possibly have heard. I'd hear things as clearly as if someone had said it. These are just some of the encounters that I have experienced, time and again, which I keep experiencing to this day.

For most of these last nine years, I have been alone to face these experiences. When these encounters first began, I did tell my parents about them. However, this would be the first and last time that I would ever approach them with the subject. Looking back, I now realize that was because I felt that neither of my parents believed me, which left me completely alone for a very long time. That is, until I got the courage to tell my fiance about this, a few months ago.

Although he admitted that he doesn't believe in ghosts, or in the paranormal, he told me that he believed me, when I said that I had paranormal experiences. I can say that I really don't need him to believe in ghosts. All I really wanted was for someone to actually tell me that they believed me. At this point, it really doesn't matter that he doesn't believe in the paranormal. It just doesn't matter to me.

Even though there is someone in my life, who believes me, I am still afraid of some of my experiences. I think that this is mainly due to the fact that I spent so much of the last nine years alone and afraid that it'll take some time for me to no longer feel alone, in all of this.

My teens weren't at all easy for me, and my paranormal experiences didn't help much at all. My teenage years certainly have left their mark on my adult years. This certainly includes my paranormal encounters. I don't think that these experiences helped me much.
