How to deal with rude people

rude person indirectly what you think about his attitude. Get your point across in a manner which would not cause any trouble. Take note that some rude people have highly volatile emotions. You have to be careful not to drive them up the wall.

Most of the time, the situation subsides when they realize their offensive behavior. He might turn quiet, speak more calmly, and become reasonable. Take that as a good sign. It's not impossible to see a sudden change in the way the person treats you as soon as he knows about his rudeness. There might even be apologies coming your way. But for some reason, it's not as easy as this all the time. Irrational people do exist and they would stay rude no matter how calm and polite you are in handling the situation.

~ And If Things Get Ugly, Just Walk Away ~

You don't need to engage in a battle which you know wouldn't be fruitful (at least if you've been polite and reasonable). If you feel that the rude person wouldn't be easy to handle then just retreat. Letting your own emotions get in the way is like rubbing salt on the wound.

You might even do things in the heat of the moment, things which you'll probably regret. Don't stoop down to that level. You won't be any less of a person if you choose to ignore the rude guy. You just have to remind yourself that you've done everything you can and you're being level-headed by walking away.

So next time you get across a rude person you won't be cowering in fright, at least with these guidelines you will be ready.
