Unfortunately, as much as we want to believe that "Freedom," is the highest priority focused on America, we also are having to admit that our freedoms are being weeded out bit by bit. This gradual loss of our freedoms, is being done by way of many deceptive methods, that keep us so preoccupied, that we don't see what is happening right under our noses.
George W. Bush opened the way for Fascism to emerge in the United States. His leadership was dictatorial in ways that no other president before him, dared expose. What Bush wanted, Bush got. To hell with what the people wanted. His leadership qualities were that of "His way, or No way." He was a dictator in every form of the word.
After the 911 attack on America and his decision to retaliate with war, his words to the people of America were, "If you are not for us, you are against us." These powerful and intimidating words warned the people that they were viewed as an enemy of their own country, if they refused to support Bush and his war. Those words were a red flag, that he was heading this Nation toward a Fascist State.
The majority of citizens at the time, went along with his decision to get revenge for the terrorist act against our country. As the war escalated however, lies and manipulations grew and the war turned into some personal vendetta, concerning the political agenda. Citizens were caught up in something they could not understand, or get out of. Talk of a "New World Order" was emerging. Secrets and confidential political groups were being established to spy on citizens.
Prisons were being built as if the government anticipated a mass movement to fill them up. Cutting welfare to the poor was the start in that plot. Warehousing or imprisoning the poor is a first step in creating a Fascist government. Glorifying war to hold onto power and to control the masses, also is a sign of a Fascist government.
The super wealthy and powerful, have conspired with the government to outsource companies abroad, which reaped the powers in control, large profits, while denying citizens of this country, desperately needed jobs to survive. The more the gap between the rich and poor grows, the more that the lower classes are denied their constitutional rights. Prisons are being used as surrogate concentration camps to weed out those who could raise up in rebellion or revolution.
Corruption is rampant and our rights are slipping away from beneath us faster than we can realize what is happening. Is the United States becoming a Fascist State? Yes it is.
