Did it prickle when you broke my heart?
Did splinters dig in deep?
And wedge themselves in places which
Your tweezers cannot reach?
Carry those sharp shards around
And don't forget your crime;
For somewhere in the universe
I hemorrhage over mine.

I thought that love
would wait for me,
when you went your separate way~
I knew your heart
would stay with
Have you ever had
The sun shine down,
Yet upon your face
It's golden rays felt like ice,
Have you ever walked
