For the Love of Snack Cakes!
Love, thy name is Debbie
Little, individually wrapped
In the palm of my hand I hold
Your frosted love, eternal. Like
no other you have been with me,
seen my tears and triumph;
satiated me when no other
could; surpassed only by
Yourself when in concert
with nearly freezing milk.
Debbie, you heal me in
ways I thought impossible.
Is it the chocolate?
Is it the oatmeal? You
cross my lips as a cream-filled
spring of joy glistening
in the light of a rainbow.
An angelic, gastric symphony plays
Debbie, sweet Debbie, my love
