A romantic week
He brought her flowers on Sunday,
She kissed him on top of his head.
So he brought her more flowers on Monday,
She said she wanted chocolates instead.

She made him a pie on Tuesday,
He ate it with hardly a word.
So she didn't make him pie on Wednesday,
It was then that his protests were heard.
-
They sat in silence on Thursday,
Then made love upon the floor.
They woke in an embrace on Friday,
And he made a wild bolt for the door.

They did their own thing on Saturday,
She seethed and he moped in despair.
So he bought her flowers on Sunday,
And they started anew from there.

A WEEK ON MY OWN
Sounds like real bliss
A whole week on my own
It'll be too good to miss
With just me home alone.
There'll be
Monday- is calling work to be done
Tuesday- tomorrow might be more fun
Wednesday- who knows what that day will hold?
Thursday-
HURRY UP, AND WAIT
We're living in the Promised Land;
We're safe inside the gate.
Our life inside is simply grand;
