Double-edged sword
Jill's Birthday
For so many people their last day.
Her death was like watching people throwing themselves from the towers.
Seems surreal, and you are flooded with disbelief
Then it turns quickly into grief
Why and How could this happen?
You cant erase that imagine from your mind
People plunging to their death
Jill laying in her coffin
So still
Dressed up nicely
But all i can see are the staples holding her together
Sunken chest
Pale face, covered in make-up
No smile, no life
September 11th

How ironic the number they called to bring Jill back
Her birth date, now her last hope for life
She's home now
But we are here...
Tears of anger, rage all mixed
Both events joined permanently in my mind.
One with the other.

A little girl is crying
But you cannot see her tears
She's afraid, so scared and lonely
She's been crying for years and years
