have more readers than on weekends. On weekends however, the posts are less than on weekdays. You can play around with this by posting on different days and see when you get the most traffic. Soon you will find a good balance.

9. Tagging

Tagging is a very popular way to drive traffic to your Blog. There are thousands of Social Media Sites out there you can use to tag your posts. Some of the most popular you can try is, Digg, Del.icio.us, and Netscape.

10. Ping

One of the many popular ways to get your Blog "Out There" is to Ping. By pinging your URL, you will submit your Blog to hundreds of Search engines, Forums, and Social Media Sites. Use Google Search to find Autoping, add your URL and watch your traffic increase.

11. Keywords

Keywords are one of the most important things to take into account when trying to drive traffic to your Blog, as well as to be ranked by Google. You as the blogger have a choice, you can either target a high traffic keyword, and have a low ranking on Google, or you could target a moderate traffic keyword and have a high ranking on Google. At the same time you will increase traffic to your Blog. This is known as "Lucrative Keywords" Try to place your most important keywords in your Post Titles, Content and URL. This will surely increase your traffic.

12. Updates

Update frequently! The more you post to your Blog, the more you will get spidered, and the better Google will index you. This way you will show up in more searches.
