Is driving a privilege or a right? Most adults would say that it is a privilege to deny their teens or driving. But as for them they would say they need to drive so they could get to work everyday. Most teens would argue that driving is a right and they should be able to whenever they want. Coming from a teen myself I personally believe that driving should be a right for parents as well as teens. Parents and teens need to drive to get to places like school and work. Driving is also a way to teach teens to be responsible, and learn how to survive in the real world.

If you are an adult who has teens you would tell your teen that driving is a privilege. You would say this to keep your teen from driving to often and to keep your "baby" at home. How would you feel if you were told that driving was a right? You probably would deny it and revolt because you need driving to get to work and buy food. If this is the case why would you tell your teen that driving is a privilege? They have a license that gives them the same driving rights as you. Always remember that if your teen is driving they are not a kid anymore and that they need to be more responsible and have more freedom. Driving is just the way to teach your teen that responsibility is key to life in the real world.

As long as you are abiding by the law as a teen while driving, you should not be denied the right to drive. When you are driving you are learning skills you need to survive in life. Driving is a key skill for you cannot travel to school or work without it. Most people living today cannot survive and travel to work without a speedy form of transportation. Driving in this case is that form of transportation. You might have gotten your license but that doesn't mean that you are an expert driver. Driving in this case has to be a right for you need to learn how to drive better and avoid accidents. Driving is also important for your schooling as a teen. If you are in collage you have to buy yourself food, clothing, and books for school. You cannot buy these things if you could not drive and go get them.

All these reasons are prime examples on why your teen or you should have the right to drive. Your teen needs their freedom, and you need your mode of transportation. No one should ever deny you your right to drive if you are driving legally and abiding by the law. Remember driving is not a privilege but a necessity. You cannot survive in society without driving.
