When asked the question about Christians having to work on Sunday, I have to say yes. However, It needs a little bit of help understanding exactly why I would say yes when the Lord gave us the Sabbath day to rest on. I do believe that God made no mistakes when he wrote the Bible and we are not to add to it or take away from it. Thus meaning that God made it very plain that in some cases people would have to work on Sunday. God made it very plain of the example that he made. If the ox falls into a hole would you go get it out on a Sunday or leave it go until Monday with hopes that it would still be alive. Of course we all know that the ox would probably be dead by Monday morning so it would be a wrong choice to leave the ox go.

So it is with work, when you place and application into a restaurant that is open on Sundays the question would lay upon the application. If you choose to follow the Bible and not take away from nor add to it, you would be required to say no. This means that you have knowledge of the company working on Sundays. At the time you learn that this company does stay open on Sundays and you still put your application in there you have made your choice to agree to work on Sundays against the Bible. The other thing that would be a wise choice if you still plan to place the application is to make sure that you write this choice of Not to Work on Sunday. At this time, you have done all that you can to about being honest and reasonable. If the company would happen to call the individual in for an interview it would only be right at this point to bring up the Sunday issue. Most companies if you talk to them about working on Sunday they will respect that and work something out. It may mean that you have to work every Saturday but the Lord is worth every part of this and would bless you for speaking up. If the company will not take this matter into consideration than maybe you should consider working somewhere else.

Please understand that working in a restraint might be able to respect this issue but if it is a factory, you might have to either choose to work because the company is requiring you to work. It may sound horrible but if you choose to stay working there for the company that is working on Sunday then you should be expected to work the same as the others. Personally I had to vote yes, because if you choose to stay working for a company that cannot take your spiritual needs under consideration then you should have to decide. It might
