What would be the most dramatic difference, in terms of U.S. foreign policy, between a President John McCain and a President Barack Obama?

stereotyped image of Muslim women in the West, remained a challenge, " I agree with Obama in his perspectives about women and their clothing, as they have the right to choose their appearances without the interference of any party. Wearing Hijab, doesn't discriminate the right of women if they decide to wear it, nor force to stick with it for the rest of their lives, because of traditions or male control. Not all Muslim women are locked inside their homes with no freedom to express themselves. I hope the speech will promote Arab governments to consider women as equal citizens to men, when it comes to legislations and rights to empower them in all aspects of life," the female activist said.

Obama divided his speech into seven main sections, mostly political, regarding issues brewing in the region. Addressing key issues from the Israel-Palestine conflict to democracy and extremism, President Obama left no stone unturned in telling the Muslim world, that it was easier to blame others than look inward and choosing the right path was not always the easy path.

According to a survey conducted by the Bahrain Center for Studies and Research, 83 percent of Bahraini's had predicted that the Democrat Candidate, would be the next US President. The survey highlighted that the public wanted Obama to change the American policies towards the Middle East, although 75 per cent of them felt the new President would not be able to make massive changes to the US foreign policies, especially towards the Arab world. Obama's Muslim roots was a key factor among people in Arab and Muslim countries, to support the Democrat as the right candidate for the top position.

The Kingdom of Bahrain shares its border with the oil rich Saudi Arabia and is home to the US Navy Fifth Fleet.
