Poetry: Unspoken

by Jim Huckabee

Created on: June 06, 2009

Aimless nights, hollow rooms.

My heart was broken.

My soul was dry.

Your words still reverberate

In my ears.

The unspoken words-

I saw inside are the reason why.

Those which lived

Underneath your breath

Pull the tears from my eyes.

You are gone-I'm still here.

Those unspoken words

Are the reason why.
