Sometimes, I stop and stare...
Carefully watching the perfection you deny is there.
It doesn't matter that you can't see it.
It's to far below the surface for that.
It's the way you laugh when I'm acting a little dumb.
It's how you hold me, when I feel alone.
It's pure.
It's genuine.
You have everything in you that I've needed.
I'm in love with the way your lips move.
I'm in love with the way you shyly sing.
I'm in love with the way you know to push me.
You are my encouragement.
You are my best friend.
You are my fortress, the only thing I see.
You're the thing that separates me from a world of misery.
Forever...
