You think it's all in humor when you whisper to your friend.
That girl did this with so and so, isn't she so bad?
When you sit there gaily amongst all the lies..
Never realizing you're the cause of the tears slipping from her eyes.
There's no reason for all this discriminating.
In turn, she's latched onto hating.
A peaceful girl twisted into misery.
She's so full of possibility,
but she can't move past the rumors quickly spreading.
She has never wronged anyone,
Yet, due to your words she's surrounded by no one.
All because you thought it was fun.
You could've let it go.
You have your own life to lead,
Give that girl room to breathe.
Go look at your own reflection.
It's a shame it won't mirror all that deception.

Cross your heart,
And hope to lie.
Truths be told,
Then people cry.
Mix them up,
And tell me which is which.
Then within
Lies, lies, fingers in pies
You just can't admit it, your high as a kite
Your bubbling and brooding will get you nowhere
Something happened
Something did
I should
But I don't regret it
Other people were there
Other people know
One of them told her
They

in an intricate
lace-patterned cloak
of deceit
and slowly
it
I wish I could have seen
your face when you told me
"I love you"
I just know you were winkng
at the girl all dressed in
