No money, No faith.
I stand before you with an empty plate.
Tell me baby, what do you see?
A broken child or what she wants to be?
You tell me I'm a star,
I've heard too many times how you're going to take me so far.
Your dreams are like rocks in the bottom of the ocean.
They aren't going anywhere, despite the lovely notion.
I used to trust in you to take me somewhere,
Have lines crossed or were things always so unclear?
I keep holding to tight to this well painted fantasy.
I trust in you too much still to turn and leave.
When will you finally take my hand and lead me where we should be?
Maybe you'll say tommorow or before the end of forever,
but time is running thin for our happily ever after.

I
I drove alone today on a silver highway,
in the fast lane, same old song on my mind.
New chapter to begin, new tale to tell,
I
