Birds in My Bowl
Birds fly high.. all around
Landing gently on the ground.
Stealing, snatching, grabbing food.
Leaving me in a chasing mood!
I watch, I run, I dive at last...
But those birds are just too fast!
Birdies do need food to eat.
Maybe I should just be sweet.
Little birdies, gather round.
I won't make a single sound.
I think that I can stand to share.
Especially since you're everywhere!

My Best Friend
I helped to pick you out
But when we got you home
You caused such a fight
He said you had to go
It really wasn't

Man's Best Friend
Always there when I come home
Thrilled to see my face
Wanting just a playful touch
Not a long embrace
Patiently
Night Prowler
Silently, stalking through the night
Sniffing the air for that special scent
Turning corners cautiously
Mindful

Dear Molly, the best dog in the world
I've always wanted to give you a list
Of the amazing things that you are
So I can prove
My cat holds me responsible
for changes in the weather
He tells me all about it
every time that we're together.
"I must go out!
