NOT IN MY NAME

Please don't make evil laws and claim you are doing so in the

name of the people - not in my name

don't start wars as a solution to your ideas of what

constitutes freedom - not in my name

don't keep building prisons so you can lock up people you have

cut off welfare and made destitute - not in my name

don't vote yourselves high pay raises while expecting the poor

to live on minimum wage - not in my name

don't bail out all the top dog companies while cutting

social services for the poor - not in my name

don't pretend you are making decisions in the best interest

of the people - when you could care less what they think

not in my name

don't claim to be peace keepers to curb crime

when the police operate like Nazi's toward the poor

not in my name

don't try to brainwash taxpayers that "no child is left behind"

when one half of all high school students are so disillusioned

they drop out of school -not in my name

don't use the words "imminent danger" as an excuse for

police to openly kill unarmed suspects - while you still send

battered women LIVING IN IMMINENT DANGER to

prison for life for killings a monster

not in my name

don't call the Justice System the best in the world when we

have more prisons, and longer prison sentences than

any where else on earth - not in my name

don't expect to win grace from God for convicting illegal

immigrants as criminals, when everyone except

Native Americans committed the same crime

not in my name

don't brag about how new homes are being built while

millions of houses sit empty and millions of people

live on the streets like stray dogs

not in my name

you DO NOT SPEAK FOR ME you do not speak for the

people, by the people

you speak only for yourself to gain power and wealth

I want no part of your decisions

not in my name!
