My little girl is getting married today
Didn't I just bring her home from the hospital
Seems like yesterday...
Today she will marry the man of her dreams
Wasn't it just last week
she was losing a tooth and
asking for more ice cream?
Today she wears her wedding dress of white
Wasn't it just a few days ago
she was wearing frilly little dresses
and cable cord tights?
Today my little girl becomes his wife
She's all grown up
and now
she will start a new life...
I will miss the little girl she used to be
I cherish the woman
who stands in front of me...
With a tear in my eye
I tell myself not to cry
As I honor her marriage
her new life
as his wife...
I just want to say
"Have a happy marriage
this wonderful day!"
Love
Mommy

The Aisle of Memories
Baby food, infant seats,
She's so fragile, she's so petite.
She has no teeth, just a gummy smile.
It's the little things that
My little girl is getting married today
Didn't I just bring her home from the hospital
Seems like yesterday...

Your wedding, your princess dreams made real
My little girl dressing up as a bride for Halloween
You're getting married?

A spiritual
Feeling
Sits in the
Hearts of parents
With trembles
Of letting go
A beautiful
Fruit of life
Held so
Delicately
