Poetry: Nature's seasons

"Tumbleleaf"
One lonely leaf, only thus; Out of place,
prairie, lost.
Surprising, its sound heard, gently.
Here rolling within a Northern current.
Tips turning & tumbling, days gone by,
on the prairie of old appearing.
Alone, unusual would be a person
walking along the dirt road , tis naught.
Like a starfish on its side, tumblefish.
Prancing, dancing atop pebbles, slo-ward now.
A sheriffs' badge amidst turf, misplaced.
Adrift, aloft airstreams balancing.
Tightrope spinner, apart from his own kind;
Controlled, swift in his stride, Tumbleleaf.
Throes & streaks, blossomy dust.
Quickly, pass & revue-over, passed.
Tumbleleafs' voyage anon;
This spinning wheel-leaf could-forever.
Maelstrom carrier, winding along.
Merry in the way, striding now
jockeying to, not fro, joyful motion.
