There is no end to suffering
and so I cannot rest
my mind is forced to wander
along the frozen paths of death.
The inside of the tortured heart
against it many crimes,
everything seems useless
I see - but I feel blind.
As many tears as I can shed
and pray to god unheard,
I wonder of the usefulness
of any spoken word.

It's like static on the radio,
this constant white noise keeps me awake,
there's no switch to turn it off,
I feel my past behind me, clawing at my spine
but when I turn to face my foe, I see a narrow line
