In a nutshell, stress kills! There are a lot contributors to stress. Such as paying off the overdue mortgage, dealing with layoffs and then saving up while looking for a new job. And down you go on the list. It's a never ending repetitive cycle. One minute you'll feel chilled and then the next minute: AAAAAA stress. Well I'll try not to paint such a monstrous picture next time. This is one of the reasons why you see alcoholics, druggies, and smokers pop up on the street. And yes it is contagious so beware MUAHAHAHAHA! But then again you don't have to look at stress from a disdainful angle. The truth is, stress can be cool, and it can be healthy.
There are several things you'd have to learn in order to master stress management. And the basic requirement would be the breathe! Five times! Ten times per minute! It doesn't really matter because breath holding is a common malpractice done by people who are under tremendous stress or pressure just let it all out on the open. Alright so let me cut to the chase. Some common ways to combat stress are reading a book, watching your favorite TV show, and finally working out. But the most effective way of getting rid of stress would be to jot down your thoughts on a piece of paper because nothing cleanses your system better. My apologies for such redundancy but it was essential to provide an overview of stress only so you can be glued to this article about as to what journaling can do for you in such an event!
Imprinting your daily thoughts on paper always allows you to seek salvation because bottled inner thoughts always tend to strangle a busy person. As emotionally bound animals we will need to seek a support system somewhere or flow things out when tertiary, quartenary matters are bugging the crap out of you. Otherwise it makes it difficult to concentrate. When writing you are throwing it out in the open and in the process you are accepting what troubled situation you are experiencing. I believe that it is human nature to be at odds with yourself when you are hurting over something and you don't want it to. At times when your spouse is out of town and everyone else in your social circle is busy you would have to talk to someone about your stressful situation. And it turns out at times that a journal or diary will be your best friend in such circumstances. I've been keeping a journal for years already and believe me nothing makes me feel fuller. It's a must to try it out at least once. I guarantee you you won't be disappointed.
