who will be the first to blink in this battle for world domination, us or the other guy'? In our perception, we are the righteous, and the other guy' is the wicked. And these labels only serve to strengthen the misperception, and miscommunications between us, and the other guy.

Who is right, and who is wrong, is an irrelevant issue. The bottom line is that humanity has quite a bit of growing up to do. And these petty, childish suspicions, and jealousies only serve to create greater distance between us, and the love of the creator.

The human soul does not know a color, or creed, or county, and it is the great myth on earth that very select groups of people are chosen over others to receive God's blessing. And the idea that a certain sect of society is more deserving of abundance, happiness, and blessings, than another is further evidence of just how far we as a whole have to progress.

To further justify our illusions of who is the most worthy, we have even gone as far as to recreate God himself\herself. We made a God that welcomes certain people into His\her Kingdom, and then condemns the rest of the world's population to an eternity of torment. There is nothing holy, spiritual, or righteous about that. But the worst blasphemy of all is that the creator's name is used to justify killing, subjection, and destructionthis is a true sin. And the only real offense against God.

The other Guy does not exist, other than to justify never seeing the truth of our existence. It comes down to a simple choice, we can live in fear, and paranoia, or we can take a leap of faith, and reach out to our fellow citizens of earth. There will always be differences of opinion, but then again, we don't always have to be right. We can just agree to disagree peacefully. We can learn to listen to other points of view, and beliefs without judgment. And above all we don't have to live in fear of the other guy!

Ruling bodies of nations always have their own agendas, and deception, and propaganda usually follow. But we are not mindless sheep to be herded. Common sense is a gift that everyone was given, and if information is given that does not make sense, then it is not truth. The important thing is to make up our own minds about a situation, and never to blindly throw in with the mob.

There is no such thing as the other Guy, if we peel back the layers of myth, and misperception, we are left with a person whose blood is as red as ours, and a heart that yearns for love, acceptance, and understanding, the same as us!
