Poetry: My eyes
by Carol Gioia
I can't believe my eyes.
Lack of caring, little sharing,
pennies discarded without caring.
Consumption addiction,
technology
Into my world I reluctantly let you creep in
These deep brown eyes that hide a grave sin
My eyes, the key you want, to covet
by Charles Ray
The golden gleam of sunshine
Through the dusty gloom
Penetrates into the corners
Of my dark and lonely room.
The beauty
Pretty eyes
That announce all her lies
The truth they whisper
What is inside her, they tell
Pretty, deep, thoughtful eyes
Eye Lashes.
Brisk yet fine.
Hair whips.
Faint yet powerful.
Lust strikes.
Silent yet passionate.
Feel it.
Give in.
