Unspoken
A gentle whisper in the night
Yearning, this transformation
A silk worm trapped in silent slumber
Soft and delicate
Breaks free and beats wings
Upon that quiet breeze
Floating like ghosts past midnight.
Our dreams ran in the moonlight
While we lay perfectly still
In the sweet embrace of one another
Arms enfold to take untold secrets
Feel them hidden in depths
Only we know, we understand
Like stars upon the ocean floor
Staring blankly at their reflections in the sky.
There, in your eyes
Planets form and turn to dust
In an instant all has changed
Oceans dry up and the skies open to replenish
The world knows graceful windswept dancers
Born upon gossamer wings in the glittering dew
Flowers grew in the night
Sparkles like diamonds, glitters like sun sparks
On the sea
Waves swell and crash to the shore...
In this ever setting bath of sunlight
The night seems brighter
Through the windows to your soul
I drink of their depths and know
A sweet flavor as ambrosia
Giving life like creation
In fragile moments of vulnerability
When electricity stings the air
With writhing snake like tendrils
Licking at tender embraces.
We could crash together
You and I
In this perfect harmony of wonder
Fulfillment if you will
Call it anything you desire
When it waits for you patiently
As it has been all these years
Like an eternity of happenings...
She waits silently
Through rising suns and moons
Setting skies and ocean breezes
Countless waves crashing on countless grains of sand
Under countless stars in an endless expanse
Countless and nowhere near completion.
I find it impossible to see a world without you in it
Countless dreams and possibilities....
Yet all I could truly want
Is to know everything through your eyes.

A Lasting Match
Secret romance, kept in the dark.
Hidden from sight, yet constant, never fading.
Passion, lust, all somberly
