Novel Excerpt from : Warlock Games
The three girls looked up into his eyes, each of their gazes held desire and hope. The warlock raised his staff once and announced with a deep, throaty voice, "May the games begin."
Men appeared at each ladies side and ushered her across the room to a hidden chamber to await her turn at the competition. This week would be the final leg of the competition before the warlock made his decision. Each desired to become his next succubus. His reputation among the kingdom was exceptional for providing well for his minions and their families. Due to his status and power they would get to partake in powerful battles and entertain royal company.
One woman was left standing in the royal court. Her long dark hair fell in waves across her shoulders. The corset she wore revealed her cleavage. Her eyes bore no weakness.
Slowly the first peasant made his way into the room. His eyes glued to the ground, he came to kneel in front of the warlock.
"Your crime was treason. You harbored a girl from the Kingdom of Baladara. Not only our greatest enemy, but whom we have been at war with for over two hundred years. Your heart and emotions make you foolish, tramp. "
The man's eyes stared into the warlocks begging for pity. The warlock despised weak creatures. Especially when the weakness threatened the safety of his kingdom. Without hesitation he looked up into the eyes of the succubus hopeful. She met his gaze steadily and read the instructions laid out for her.
Thwap. The sound of snapping leather echoed throughout the room. The peasant stood in surprise and turned in the direction of the noise. The female succubus smiled with a wicked gleam in her eye. Keeping the tone of her voice even, she stated, You were a very bad boy.
The man spellbound by the woman's great beauty, nodded his head mutely.
"I shall begin to punish you for your crimes". With this proclamation she flung the whip down his disheveled shirt, scattering buttons across the marble floor. Immediately the lights in the room dimmed creating the atmosphere of evening.
The succubus advanced upon the man causing him to step backwards until his feet met the hard, marble steps leading to the warlock and he stumbled. Laughing at his clumsiness, the woman whispered, "You will call me by Aseoth."
After many tortured moments of Aseoth toying with the peasant, his release was also his doom. As through his weakness, Aseoth felt empowered to torture fresh. There were still two other girls left in the competition, but the Warlock was satisfied with the battle in front of him. Aseoth had something special about her that he couldn't quite put a finger to. She would make a lovely succubus and a dangerous opponent.
Aseoth felt the Warlock's favor shift toward her abilities. Inwardly, she felt the beginnings of a smile. The game was far from over but this was a victory in her favor.
