Taking extreme measures to tackle over-population

mental and physical capability. The lowest third scorers on each half would be compared and anyone on both lists would be sent to a butcher shop to be processed for food. This test could be administered every three months, similar to the ACT. Not only would cannibalism on weaklings lower the population, it would, according to Darwin, strengthen it; also, this solves the problem of world hunger.

This form of cannibalism eliminates idiots and weaklings from the gene pool. Not only is the population decreased, those that pass the test will breed and society will become smarter and stronger. Unfortunately, this could mean that nobody is left who will do menial jobs. How can society function with no garbage men or custodians or cleaning ladies? It cannot, of course. That's why only those who are lowest on both halves of the test, mental and physical, are eliminated. Also, with the smartest people identified, we can have them build machines for those jobs anyone can do but no one wants.

Another advantage of weakling cannibalism is that fewer animals would be abused for food. Far too many cows and chickens are raised and slaughtered in an inhumane fashion to fill the greedy gullets of the human race. With humans being used for food, fewer animals would need to be killed because there would be an additional source to feed a smaller population. Some might argue that animals were meant to be eaten; my response is simple and obvious: humans are animals, too.

Undeniably, cannibalism would at least help eliminate world hunger. Lowering the population means more resources for those who are left. Using humans as food means an additional resource. There are those who claim that world hunger could be eliminated through a simple redistribution of resources. However, an overlapping group of people claims that there are insufficient resources for the present population. Also, a method of proper resource distribution has not yet been found, or we wouldn't have world hunger.

One objection to this solution is that a lot of people have diseases. We don't want to eat infectious flesh. Several diseases travel by bodily fluids; we do not know enough about many of them to know if eating a person who had a given disease would pass it to the eater. There are several responses to this. First, cooking would ensure the death of most disease causing germs and bacteria. Second, those with AIDS or cancer could be removed from the butcher shop. Nobody wants to catch AIDs or cancer from their lunch.
