I never came to you my friend
And ever left without
A caring thought that you did send
Gave faith and less of doubt.
You gave me courage for the days ahead
When I came to you in need
And I always left with words you said
Comforted indeed.
If I can only but attest
What your friendship means to me
I'd start by saying you're the best
A true caring friend should be.
Your friendship is a blessing
And I want you to know my friend
It's one of the most precious gifts
I'll carry with me to the end.
I will always be here to hold your hand
If you're having a bad day I'll understand
And when hard times come as they often do
I promise I'll always be here for you.

Poetry: True friends
An acquaintance, brief or long
Is far from being a friend,
The two can never be alike
Nor ever, ever blend.
How often have we

Friends make us all happy,
some friends make us blue,
but you know a true friend,
is always true to you.
A friend who is your
Tis You
in my world of insanity
tis you i look to for support
in my sad hours
tis you i look to for comfort
in my happiest hours
You've touched me deep
Within my soul
Where none has gone before.
You've opened my eyes
To myths and lies
That shake me
To my
I felt your nearness as a child
When my world was very cold
When my family was the enemy
When you watched my life unfold
