Argent Dawn are the frontline soldiers battling against the Scourge. Their main quest hub is in Eastern Plaguelands at Light's Hope Chapel. Siding along with the Scarlet Crusade there are many ways in which a player is able to get Exalted. Players starting out from level 52 right up to level 80 will find it quite easy to get Exalted with this faction.

At level 52 players are able to complete cauldron quests in Western Plaguelands, completing all four of these quests will reward you with a Vitreous Focuser, allowing you to collect Osseous Agitators, Somatic Intensifiers (if you completed cauldron 2), and Ectoplasmic Resonators (if you completed cauldron 4). Along with heading to Light's Hope Chapel and retrieving your Argent Dawn Trinket which allows you to collect Scourge Stones, you can begin to grind mobs.

Grinding mobs will not only help you raise gold from cloth and item drops but it will also allow you to collect reputation rewards. You can do this until you are Honored with Argent Dawn, you should be a few levels higher now and able to handle Western Plaguelands. Proceed to the Light's Hope Chapel and complete all the quests in this hub.

You should be saving all your reputation rewards such as scourge stones to hand in after completing all the quests in the quest hub. A major note to keep record of is that once you hit Revered, monsters no longer give reputation. This requires you to have plenty of reputation items to hand in to gain exalted. Gaining exalted with the Argent Dawn also allows level 60's to buy epic items for their characters. Rewards from Revered to Exalted also include a variety of recipes for professions.

Level 70-80 players can easily solo Scholomance (Western Plaguelands) and Stratholme (Eastern Plaguelands) instances. Doing this allows the quick collection of great amounts of scourge stones and the monsters in the instance also reward reputation when killed. Stratholme is a popular instance for higher levels as the boss Baron Rivendare has a chance to drop a rare mount. Farming this instance will not only give you alot of reputation with Argent Dawn but also bring possibilities of obtaining the mount.

The mount Baron Rivendare drops is considered to be the rarest mount in the game. Its drop rate appears to be less frequent than other rare mount drops. Gaining Exalted with Argent Dawn is part one of two requirements for the achievement The Argent Champion. You will also receive the title The Argent Champion. The second part to this achievement requires exalted with Argent Crusade (Northrend).

As a summary, grind reputation on monsters until honored, or if you have the patience revered. Then go ahead and complete all Argent Dawn quests and hand in all the reputation items you collected in the process. If you are still not exalted, run Scholomance or Stratholme for more scourge stones. If you are too low level and can't get help then keep killing monsters in the Plaguelands.
