Like many towns and cities in the U.S., Wichita too has quite a lot of programs that one can volunteer to. For those who want to contribute their services to the City voluntarily, there are quite a lot of volunteer positions based on one's educational and technical assets. Some require labor, as in cleaning up parks and streams, while others requre teaching skills or patience with the sick. What ever it may be, Wichita encourages its citizens to give prime importance to both community and city wefare.
