Poetry: Lust

by Adrian Holdsworth

Created on: June 02, 2009

Kaleidoscope:

It's a wishing well

Lets you see what you want to see

Fluorescent lights keep you company

One more fish left in the sea

Much more real than the real thing

So real that I feel nothing

Spinning head yeah it wants you

My beating heart feels cut in two

Cut in two

It's a prison cell

Makes you high when you feel low

Hoping you already know

Taking hold never letting go

Synthetic feelings disappear

Is anything i feel real?

So many things to say to you

From where I stand across the room

Baby I play the fool

From where I stand across the room
