"Which computer is right for me?"
The possibilities are endless. Before you buy a PC, you want to see it's reviews and see the history of the personal computer whether it is refurbished or damaged in any way. Components in a computer are simple, like RAM or memory which speeds up your computer. A processor which lets you do multiple things on your PC at once, like watching a movie or playing a game at one time. Now the motherboard is the "big one" because that is the board where all the extra components go and where the CPU Fan generated air and helps make the computer cool off from all the video memory and heat build-ups.
If you want a good gaming Desktop computer, I recommend looking on Tiger Directs website, where you will find a lot of built PC's ready as bare-bone kits. Some are packaged with good LCD monitors for crisp clear gaming, and with mouses and keyboards with newest features such as laser mouse and wireless capability. I recommend Logitech products for wireless output on keyboards and mouses for PC's. Then for your monitor, everyone wants the best price so look at Tiger Direct, for monthly special deals. Also for July the 4th coming, Independence Day deals are near! So have fun with a PC that contains 4GB of Ram and up, a good Processor with a Quad or Dual-handling. Make sure speed is at lease 3.00ghz and up . For a video card, check out the latest Geforce Nvidia gaming video card. Like the 9400GT and up, or just if you have extra money to spend, get a dual-9800GTX video card, with double the video memory up to 1.5GB. I hope you find the right product, and if you have the knowledge to build computers, by all means buy the parts separate, which will save you hundreds of dollars. Contact support at technology retailers or on line support and get help to building your own wonderful PC.
If you like a good work computer, you would want to buy computers from companies like Acer, eMachines, ASUS, Intel and more like that. As I said for gaming you would want to check out company products like HP, iBuyPower, Velocity, Cybertron, WidowPC, Visionman and more. For work, you need like 1GB of RAM or even less, a decent motherboard containing at least 2 slots for RAM and a good North-bridge and South-bridge connectivity, for making your products on the motherboard run smoothly. Also you will want to know for sure how the machine works with the products you have in there, the appropriate processor, and cooling fan. it is said working computers also have their downfalls if pushed too far in their limits. i hope you all find the right PC either for entertainment, work, gaming and many other uses for the world of computers is an endless tide of possibilities.
